GLASSSOFTWARE
The future of our traditional craftmanship approach is in doubt. From ceramics to carpentry, metallurgy, and glass, the current prospect forces us to reconsider how ecology, technology, and culture are changing profoundly. In this project, a collaboration with professional glassblowers from Glasblazerij Leerdam and the Nationaal Glasmuseum tried to dive into how blurred the boarders are between craftsmanship and software 3D Modeling and production are.
A society with collective control over its high-tech, work-reducing gadgets might be a road to a more efficient administration of resources, still keeping its humanity when it comes down to the beauty of the result. A global aspect that shows up as an opportunity to realize a post-work society.
